Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Tomoegawa Aura India Pvt. Ltd. ("TAI", "we") collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers tomoegawaindia.com only. We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect
When you request a quote
The quote form asks for:
- your name, designation, email address and, if you choose to give it, a phone number
- your company name and location
- your requirement: product, thickness, width, quantity and any other information you add
With each submission we also record the date and time and the IP address it came from.
To stop spam
To limit repeated automated submissions, the server keeps the IP address and time of each form submission for one hour, then deletes it.
When you visit any page
Like most web servers, ours keeps a technical log of requests: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser's user agent. We use these logs only to keep the site secure and working.
When you email or call us
We keep the messages and contact details you send us so we can reply.
What we do not do
- We do not set cookies.
- We do not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking tools.
- We do not load fonts, scripts or other content from third-party servers.
- We do not sell or rent personal data.
How we use your data
- to respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation
- to follow up on that enquiry and, if you become a customer, to manage the business relationship
- to keep records of enquiries and quotations
- to protect the website from spam and misuse
You give us quote request details voluntarily so that we can respond to your enquiry, and we use them for that purpose.
Who we share it with
Quote requests go to our sales team. To deliver them, we use an email service provider and a web hosting provider, who process the data for us and for no other purpose. We disclose personal data to others only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them to deal with the enquiry and any business relationship that follows, and to meet our legal record-keeping obligations. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting, and then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it
- correct, complete or update it
- erase it, where we no longer need to keep it
You can also nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you are unable to. To make a request or a complaint, email websales@tomoegawaindia.com with the subject "Personal data". If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS. Form submissions are stored on our server in a location that is not accessible from the web, and access is limited to the people who need it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
